Hi All,
I have been so busy painting, paper crafting and preparing items to submit for competitions I have neglected you.
I have been playing with some mixed media projects so watch for a few photos, and of course my book is taking some time. It has been cloudy here in Naples, FL so I am playing a bit and going to snuggle in for a nap. Oh and I found some awesome handbags and a couple of suprises I will be listing on Ebay…so check me out there under search by seller – LOVspecialties.

Happy Birthday Ayden! My Grandson in NY is 4 TODAY!!!
Good Morning, or I guess it is afternoon now. I slept late today and have been in my studio for a while now creating BEauTiful Greeting Cards. I completed a batch for the program “Operation Write Home” which sends greeting cards overseas to our guys and gals over there. They send cards that go to an individual service man or woman with a personal greeting OOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR… you can send a batch that are distributed to our troops to send home to their families. Remember, they don’t have access to a store selling Happy Birthday, Anniversary, or Miss You cards so this is how I have chosen to do my little part for them. Let me know if you want information on how to become involved.
I also have been photographing some cards that I was creating when my little sis Laurie was visiting from NY. She got me “hooked” a couple of years ago and she creates and sells cards under the label of “Laurie Jean”. I sell my cards wholesale to Gracie’s Cupcakes here in Naples, FL and also online through my website or Just contact me by email, under the label of LOVspecialties.
I am going to go take a nap…I know you are jealous….but that is just part of my Happy Day!
I have been busy in my office creating and photographing my 1st card that will be included in my new book. Sorry, can’t show you yet. I also moved my completed dressers to same storage and yes they are for sale and ready to go to their new home. Contact me for further information.
I saw an idea I wanted to share real quick for those of you papercrafters. Using your cricut or paper punch make some flowers of various sizes and color combinations. Double sided paper works great for this. Select a large, medium and small flower that will be combined to make a 3D completed flower. Using a pencil curl the tip of each petal and then apply some pretty glitter glue (my daughter says “glitter makes everything better!). Punch a hole in the middle of each flower using a very small punch, or a large needle. Arrange the three flowers with the largest being on the bottom, then medium and of course the smallest one on top. Select a brad, button, or gem stone and place in the center. There it is…your 1st 3D flower. Make a bunch for…a wreath…or bouquet….with a bit of ribbon on a package…..this is a great way to use up those pretty scraps of paper you have been saving.
I have been re-arranging my office and studio today. I created and phtographed my 1st card creation that will be included in my new book. You will have to wait a bit to view that project though.
New pages with more designer recycled furniture going to market. YOU can get wholesale prices buying directly from us!
I didn’t get any painting done today.. tooooooooooo hot and this week has been a bit of a test with medication changes. I did some planning with fabric and multi-media for a new project that I can’t wait to show you so until tomorrow…
Remember to embrace every day and live it to the fullest! Count your Blessings and Thank God for each one!
